Actually, it's just me, Cris Fitch, at the moment.
My brother the test pilot may at some point join me,
and I have an interesting network of friends who share
many of these same interests. Technical progress is
a passion well termed "hubris", and we have lots of it. I am from a generation which grew up with the glory
of Apollo full in our faces. Although I've
always been the computer kid in the group, my passion
for this civilization's future in space is great. I went to college at MIT in the early 1980's, and
came to learn that for the future to get here, people
like myself have to go out and make it happen. And frankly
I'm disappointed with where we are today in space.
Where are those moon bases, orbiting colonies, and expeditions
to Mars? What about the Asteroid Belt and the moons of
Jupiter? This new computer and networking technology may help.
Ideas, such as the utilization of the Shuttle's External
Tank for on orbit operations, can be popularized and
debated. And maybe we'll even get off our butts and
put some hardware up. Who knows? Contact Cris Fitch for more information about this web site. Copyright © 2001-2003 Cris A. Fitch. |
